Zusammenfassung

Gastrointestinale Komplikationen traten in den frühen Jahren der Nierentransplantation mit großer Häufigkeit auf, und waren mit einer großen Morbidität und Mortalität verbunden. Glücklicherweise sind viele dieser Komplikationen seltener geworden, mitunter wegen verbesserter Vorbereitung des Patienten und optimalerer Immunsuppressionsprotokolle. Gewisse dieser Erkrankungen können beim transplantierten Patienten vorbestehen, wie etwa ein Ulkusleiden oder eine Divertikulose, und verursachen dann im Verlauf Komplikationen, z.B. eine Blutung. Der potentielle Transplantationskandidat muß deshalb gründlich auf das Bestehen von gastrointestinalen Erkrankungen untersucht und entsprechend behandelt werden. Tabelle 50 faßt die häufigsten dieser Erkrankungen und Kom-plikationen bei Nierentransplantierten zusammen.
