Zusammenfassung
Der Verschlußikterus ist ein Symptom einer meist schwerwiegenden Erkrankung. Zugrunde liegen eine partielle oder totale Vedegung des Ductus choledochus (DRC). Die Kombination eines Verschlußikterus mit einer akuten Pankreatitis stellt ein dramatisches Krankheitsgeschehen dar, welches einer unverzüglichen Klärung zugeführt werden sollte. Die endoskopisch retrograde Cholangiographie hat sich sowohl zur Differentialdiagnose des Verschluügeschehens als auch zur Therapie - der Wiederherstellung des freien Gallen- und Bauchspeichelabflusses - bewährt. lnwieweit der Verschlußikterus im Rahmen einer biliär obstruktiv bedingten Pankreatitis einen krankheitsbestimmenden Faktor darstellt, wurde untersucht.
