Zusammenfassung

Für die verschiedenen Formen der Vaskulitiden gibt es keine einheitlich akzeptierte Nomenklatur. Dies hat zu einem erheblichen Kommunikationsproblem, nicht nur bei Rheumatologen, sondern auch zwi schen Dermatologen und Rheumatologen geführt. Begriffe wie die Hypersensitivitätsvaskulitis werden in anderen Nomenklaturen unter mikroskopischer Polyarteriitis und kutaner leukozytoklastischer Vaskulitis verwendet. Versuche, ein einheitliches Kon zept für die Vaskulitiden zu finden, waren insbeson dere aus dermatologischer Sicht unbefriedigend. So ist die Einteilung der Vaskulitiden nach Art und Größe der betroffenen Gefäße für den Dermatolo gen nicht ausreichend. Die meisten betroffenen Ge fäße sind sehr klein, und somit ist diese Zuordnung weniger geeignet.
