Abstract

Kevin Catt gratuated as a Doctor of Medicine in 1960 and obtained his PhD in biochemistry in 1967 from the University of Melbourne. He undertook his training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, in the Department of Medicine, and in the Department of Biochemistry of the Monash University. In 1970 Catt moved to the USA, first as a visiting scientist at the Cornell Medical Center, New York, and the National Institut of Health in Bethesda. In 1971 he became Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University, Washington, and in 1973 Chief of the Section on Hormonal Regulation, Reproduction Research Branch, NICHD, NIH in Bethesda.
