Zusammenfassung

Biedl studierte von 1886 bis 1892 in Wien. 1893 wurde er Assistent im Institut für experimentelle Pathologie in Wien bei S. Stricker (1834–1898), er habilitierte sich 1896 und wurde 1899 Professor. 1914 erhielt er den Ruf auf den Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine und experimentelle Pathologie der deutschen Universität in Prag. Zu seinen Schülern gehören Bernhard Aschner, Hans Selye und Max Reiss.
