Abstract

The modification of the sulfonylurea entity has led to promising new substances. The rigidification of the urea bridge or its replacement with heterosubstituted guanidines and isothioureas has brought about new herbicidal compounds. Acylated (het)aryl sulfonamides — either with conventional pyrimidine or triazine moieties or new heterocyclic systems — and sulfamoylsulfonylureas are also herbicidally active.
