Zusammenfassung

Malignome der Vulva sind seltene Erkrankungen. Es handelt sich hauptsächlich um alte Patientinnen jenseits des 60. Lebensjahres. Die Karzinome gehen meist vom medialen Anteil der Labia majora aus und wachsen exophytisch oder endophytisch. Die Tumorausbreitung ist dabei direkt in das umgebende Gewebe. Die Metastasierung ist selten hämatogen, häufiger lymphogen in die regionalen Lymphknoten. Dabei wird zuerst die oberflächliche inguinale Gruppe befallen, gefolgt von der tiefen inguinalen und iliakalen Gruppe sowie der paraaortalen Gruppe (Abb. 5.1).
