Zusammenfassung
Bei einem relaxierten Patienten ergibt sich die Beatmung allein aus der Einwirkung der Steuerung des Beatmungsgerätes auf die mechanischen Eigen- schaften des Lunge-Thorax-Systems, nämlich dessen Compliance und Re- sistance. Bei vorhandener Eigenatmung kommt eine weitere Komponente hinzu, die Muskeltätigkeit des Patienten.
