Zusammenfassung
Reperfusionsschäden spielen eine wichtige Rolle für frühzeitige Organschäden im Rahmen der Lebertransplantation. Neue Untersuchungen am Modell der isoliert perfundierten Rattenleber wie auch der orthotopen Rattenlebertransplantation zeigen eine Aktivierung der Kupfferzellen in der Reperfusionsphase [4, 5]. Es ist darüber hinaus bekannt, daß aktivierte Kupfferzellen Proteasen, Tumor Nekrose Faktor (TNF), Eikosanoide und toxische Radikale freisetzen und somit großes zeilschädigendes Potential aufweisen [2]. Marzi et al. zeigten 1991, daß eine Inaktivierung der Kupfferzellen durch Methylpalmitat zu einer signifikanten Verlängerung der postoperativen Überlebensrate nach orthotoper Rattenlebertransplantation führt [5].
