Abstract

The Green Plan, developed by the Canadian Government in 1990, provides Canadians with information on the environment including information on UV levels, called the UV Index, so they may guard themselves from excess exposure to the sun. Information from ozone measurements by Brewer spectrophotometers across Canada along with weather predictions and meteeorological information to predict the depth of ozone, thus the probable UV and health risks.
