Abstract
If your company’s moral is being questionned in the media, if you need an ethical code or have to enhance company ethics in other ways—what can you do? Are ethical codes best written by externals, e. g. smart business consultants or the ethical professionals in the churches, or should you try to develop a creed from the inside? In this paper we discuss results and experiences from a major company case, where internal dialogue conferences were used. It involves writing an ethical code and creating processes to promote moral competence.
