Abstract
Water is a peculiar and indispensable kind of natural resource on our planet, without which man’s life and activity would be quite impossible. Unlike other natural resources, water is characterised by remarkable properties, that is constant recovery during the water cycle and the capacity for self-purification. This makes it possible to maintain a relatively permanent amount of water of consistent purity in nature. This fact, has created an illusion about a constancy and inexhaustibility of water resources.
