Zusammenfassung
In Deutschland liegen nach den kardiovaskulären und den tumorösen Erkrankungen die Lungenerkrankungen nach wie vor an 3. Stelle der Todesursachenstatistik. Unter den führenden pulmonalen letalen Ereignissen stehen sicherlich neben den Lungentumoren die chronischen Erkrankungen meist mit pulmonaler Hypertonie und chronischem Cor pulmonale als Endstadium im Blickpunkt des Interesses.
