Zusammenfassung

Heute ist die quantitative Computertomographie eine weit verbreitete und akzeptierte Methode, um die Dichte von Knochen sicher bestimmen zu können. Periphere quantitative Computertomographie (pQCT) wird vor allem dort eingesetzt, wo es darum geht, den Grad einer Osteoporose quantifizieren oder aber die Effektivität der medikamentösen Therapie kontrollieren zu können [1, 2].
