Zusammenfassung
Bis jetzt erfolgen radiologische Knieuntersuchungen typischerweise mit zweidimensionalen Verfahren. üblich sind planare Röntgenaufnahmen unter einem oder mehreren Winkern. Als Hauptproblem ergibt sich dabei die Gewebsüberlagerung [1, 2]. Auch die potentiell dreidimensionalen Verfahren der Röntgen- und Kernspintomographie führen in der Regel zu zweidimensionalen Bildern. In diesen Fällen sind es Schnittbilder, die unter gewissen Winkeln durch das Organ geführt werden können. Durch die Schnittbilddarstellung geht jedoch die Dreidimensionalität weitgehend verloren, quantivative Bewertungen pathologischer Veränderungen sind auf dieser Basis kaum durchführbar.
