Zusammenfassung
Obwohl die prophylaktische Gabe von Vitamin-D zu einem starken Rückgang der Rachitis führte, entwickelten einige Kinder weiterhin rachitische Veränderungen. Diese Form der Rachitis, bei der Patienten trotz Vitamin-D-Gabe rachitische Symptome zeigten, wurde 1937 von Albright [1] erstmals ausführlich beschrieben und Vitamin-D-resistente Rachitis genannt. Aus der Gruppe der Vitamin-D-resistenten Rachitiden ist die hier untersuchte familiäre hypophosphatämische Vitamin D-resistente Rachitis mit einer Inzidenz bis zu 1:10000 die häufigste Form [3, 4].
