Zusammenfassung

Am 15. April 1905 fertigten Robinson u. Werndorf [28] Röntgenaufnahmen des Kniegelenkes nach intraartikulärer Sauerstoffinsufflation an. Diese Untersuchung gilt als die erste diagnostische Arthrographie, die sich durch die Einführung der positiven Röntgenkontrastmittel zu der über lange Zeit führenden Methode zur Darstellung der Kniebinnenstrukturen entwickelte; daneben standen lediglich die klinische Untersuchung und die Probearthrotomie zur Verfügung.
