Abstract
Economic petroleum deposits were discovered in Permian strata of the Perm province in 1929 and since then these units have been extensively studied by petroleum geologists (Kontorovich et al. 1981; Dikenshteyn et al. 1983; Maksimov 1987, Gabrielyants et al. 1989, 1991; Maksimov et al. 1990).
