Zusammenfassung

In der Diskussion um neue Konzepte für den Informatik-Unterricht jenseits von (Turbo)-Pascal-Kursen finden sich häufig Vorschläge, PROLOG als deklarative Programmiersprache in den Unterricht einzubeziehen. Mit unserem Beitrag möchten wir das Augenmerk auf relationale Datenbanken mit der Standard-Datenbanksprache SQL (Structured Query Language) lenken; eine Alternative, die u. E. bisher zu wenig beachtet wurde.
