Zusammenfassung

Theoretisch ist die perioperative Volumentherapie ganz einfach; sie setzt sich nämlich zusammen aus dem Basisbedarf des Patienten, dem Ersatz perioperativer Verluste und der Deckung vorbestehender Defizite. Bei den perioperativen Verlusten unterscheiden wir wieder zwischen den insensiblen, also nicht meßbaren Verlusten durch Evaporation und Sequestration von Extrazellulärflüssigkeit im Wundgebiet auf der einen Seite und den offensichtlichen, zumindest grundsätzlich meßbaren Verlusten von Blut und Sekreten.
