Abstract
Before starting on this review, let me express my pleasure at having attended a conference together with so many interested people with such a wide range of points of view. For some of us, the wealth of the material presented, the variety of the ideas and experimental arrangements, was the greatest surprise. Let me also mention the usefulness of private conversations, which are part of the attraction of conferences. I am particularly indebted to Drs. Darden and Weidenmüller for illuminating discussions.
