Zusammenfassung
Die Bildauflösung ist mit dem Videogastroskop höher als mit dem fiberoptischen Gastroskop. Trotzdem bietet das fiberoptische Gastroskop bei schwierigen Untersuchungsverhältnissen die bessere Sicht. Dies gilt vor allem bei Blutungen. Mit Hilfe einer aufsetzbaren Videokamera erlaubt auch das fiberoptische Gastroskop die Darstellung des Bildes auf einem Videobildschirm.
