Zusammenfassung
Jede physikalische Größe hat ihre Dimension, die wir am bequemsten mit der entsprechenden Einheit erklären. Für das Volumen haben wir z.B. die Einheit m3. Bei Angabe von konkreten Daten ist die Dimension direkt ersichtlich, da wir neben der Maßzahl immer auch die Einheit hinschreiben, z.B. V = 5 m3. Man sieht hier das Produkt von Maßzahl (5) und Einheit (m3). Jede physikalische Größe wird durch ein derartiges Produkt dargestellt. Symbole wie z.B. V stehen immer an Stelle eines Produktes beider Faktoren und nicht an Stelle der nackten Maßzahl.
