How Frequent is Colorectal Cancer?

Abstract

Cancers of the colon and rectum are among the most frequent causes of illness and death in Europe and in the world. There are every year in the EEC countries, about 130,000 newly diagnosed cases and about 90,000 deaths from colorectal cancer.
