Für den Laien und insbesondere für den Betroffenen sind sämtliche Beschwerden im Bereich des Afters auf Hämorrhoiden zurückzuführen. Das ist allerdings nur selten der Fall. Fast generell sind dafür andere Erkrankungen verantwortlich und vielseitig ist das in Frage kommende Spektrum.
