One Century Latitude Determinations at Potsdam

Abstract

Precise latitude determinations were carried out at Potsdam since 1884. These measurements had been used earlier for the detection and later for the monitoring of the polar motion. The existing long series will be used to study secular effects in the optic astro-metrical measurements of the station Potsdam.
