Summary
We present 18 cases of laparoscopically assisted colectomy (17 ileocolectomies, 1 resection of right colon): 17 patients were operated on for various benign lesions and 1 patient for carcinoma of coecum. The study shows that the procedures are feasible with low morbidity. They are an accetable alternative to the conventional techniques.
