The potential of electronic data processing for labor saving and optimizing of documentation, evaluation and presentation of results as well as for controlling and securing quality of work is undisputed. For reduction of functions in workaday routine a computer-network (Apple-Macintosh) was installed with terminals at all places of function. Operating system is FileMaker Pro®. System benefit are short initial periods and easy handling. Creating letters, OR-reports, treatment-reports and producing analyzes is much more easier with standard schedules. The open structure of development allows quick adaptation to new machines, techniques and so on. The network in process shows facilitation in clinical and scientific work and in the same way the compliance of the staff is very good.

Das Potential der EDV zur Arbeitsersparnis und Optimierung von Dokumentation, Auswertung und graphischer Darstellung der Ergebnisse sowie zur Qualitätskontrolle und -Sicherung ist unbestritten. Zur Reduzierung von Routinetätigkeiten im Klinikalltag wurde ein Computernetzwerk (Apple-Macintosh) mit Terminals an allen Funktionsstellen installiert. Betriebsprogramm ist FileMaker Pro®. Systemvorteile sind kurze Einarbeitungszeit und leichte Bedienbarkeit. Briefe, OP-Berichte, Dopplerbefunde u. v. m. werden mit Standardvorgaben schneller erstellt. Auswertungen sind jederzeit durchführbar. Die offene Entwicklungsstruktur erlaubt schnelle Anpassung an neue Geräte, Untersuchungsverfahren usw. Die Anlage zeigt im Betrieb eine erhebliche Erleichterung der klinischen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeit bei guter Akzeptanz durch die Mitarbeiter.
