Summary
Liver transplantation today is introduced into clinical practice. One step to the good results of the operation was the development of veno-porto-venous bypasses with mechanical pumps. Solutions for perfusion of the liver, like the UW-solution, allow the cooled storage of the graft for several hours. The recipient procedure can be performed safely. The risk of the operation was minimized by use of veno-venous bypasses, and the rate of postoperative complications decreased.
Zusammenfassung
Die Lebertransplantation ist heute klinische Routine geworden. Zum Erfolg der Operation haben die Entwicklung maschineller veno-porto-venöser Bypass-Systeme und spezieller Perfusionslösungen, vor allem der UW-Lösung, beigetragen. Das gekühlte Transplantat ist über viele Stunden haltbar und die Empfängeroperation kann ohne Zeitdruck durchgeführt werden. Der veno-porto-venöse Bypass macht den Eingriff für den Patienten risikoarm und trägt zur Vermeidung postoperativer Komplikationen bei.
