Abstract

This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using a hypertext environment to develop application software. The chosen example application is that of aircraft flight preparation, details of which may be found in [Camp87]. Comparisons are made with a similar system discussed in [Grif90] and implemented using a spreadsheet.
