Zusammenfassung

Schmerz ist eine unerfreuliche Begleiterscheinung vieler Krankheiten, er tritt auch bei einer Reihe ärztlicher diagnostischer und therapeutischer Maßnahmen auf. Schmerz steht paradigmatisch für die Wechselwirkung zwischen Körper und Psyche. Im folgenden soll Schmerz am Beispiel der Migräne aus den Bückwinkeln der Wissenschaft, des behandelnden Arztes und des Patienten dargestellt werden.
