Zusammenfassung
Eine Vielzahl bedeutender Studien, einige davon begannen bereits vor über 30 Jahren, konnten einen positiven Einfluß körperlicher Aktivität auf die kardiovaskuläre Morbidität und Mortalität nachweisen [1, 9, 10, 11]. Sportlich aktive zeigten im Vergleich zu nichtaktiven Probanden deutlich niedrigere Glukose- und Insulinkonzentrationen, höhere HDL-Cholesterinspiegel, niedrigere Triglyzeride und Harnsäure [15].
