Zusammenfassung
1884 beschrieb Louis Duhring einige Patienten mit papulovesikulären, stark juckenden Hauteffloreszenzen, die er als Dermatitis herpetiformis bezeichnete. Diese Effloreszenzen treten in der Regel symmetrisch auf den Streckseiten der Extremitäten, insbesondere im Bereich der Ellbogen, Kniegelenke und der Gesäßregion auf, werden aber auch über dem Sakrum und den Schultern gesehen. In schweren Fällen können Kopf und Gesicht, sehr selten auch die orale Mukosa mitbetroffen sein. Zuweilen werden neben den papulovesikulären Effloreszenzen urtikarielle Plaques und Erosionen mit und ohne Krusten gesehen, so daß ein buntes Bild von Veränderungen vorliegen kann (Otley u. Hall 1990).
