Zusammenfassung

Primäre Leberkarzinome galten in Mitteleuropa bisher als seltene Malignome. In Ostasien und Südafrika, besonders aber in Mosambik, sind sie mit 40%–50% aller auftretenden Karzinome weitaus häufiger. Weltweit ist das primäre Leberkarzinom das häufigste Karzinom überhaupt [1].
