Zusammenfassung
Kenntnisse der physiologischen Veränderungen durch die Schwangerschaft und deren Einfluß auf die Pharmakodynamik sind erforderlich, um durch Medikamente ausgelöste Zwischenfälle in der geburtshilflichen Anästhesie zu vermeiden; daneben sind der plazentare Transfer von Medikamenten und deren Auswirkung auf den Fetus von Bedeutung. Bei Kenntnis der schwangerschaftsspezifischen Erkrankungen und deren medikamentöser Behandlung lassen sich schwerwiegende Medikamenteninteraktionen meist vermeiden.
