Zusammenfassung

Das Thema erfordert zunächst eine Beschreibung der klinischen Syndrome und eine Würdigung ihrer Bedeutung für die Beurteilung der Hirnverletzung und für das weitere diagnostische und therapeutische Vorgehen. Die folgenden Ausführungen beschränken sich auf die Akutphase und lassen die psychischen und neuropsychologischen Dauerfolgen nach Schädel-Hirn-Traumen ausgeklammert.
