Summary

Percutaneous radiotherapie is an effective local treatment with response rates of over 90% and a progression-free period of around 6 months or more. Side effects can be minimized through localization and fractionation adjusted according to the patient’s general condition, so that in spite of the short life expectancy of HIV-positive patients the use of radiotherapy is indicated.
