Zusammenfassung

Der intakte Magen besteht aus 2 aufeinander abgestimmten Funktionseinheiten [31]. Der proximale Magen akkommodiert postprandial [12], indem sich das Magenvolumen reflektorisch an das Volumen des aufgenommenen Speisebreis ohne eine signifikante Erhöhung des intragastralen Drucks anpaßt. Durch anhaltende tonische Funduskontraktion erfolgt über diese Regulation des intragastralen Drucks dann eine rasche, exponentielle Entleerung flüssiger Nahrungsbestandteile [25]. Die Entleerungsgeschwindigkeit von Flüssigkeiten wird darüber hinaus vom Flußwiderstand im antropylorischen Segment und proximalen Duodenum sowie von der intakten Koordination dieser Abschnitte bestimmt.
