Summary
Two hitherto neglected features of cataclysmic variables are discussed: (1) dependence of cycle-length on orbital period and brightness amplitude in dwarf novae eruptions and (2) the dip in the descending branch of superout-burst light-curves of WZ Sagittae stars.
