Zusammenfassung

Es zeigt sich, daß der Geometrieverarbeitung in der integrierten Informationsverar-beitung für CIM eine große Bedeutung zukommt. Im Hinblick auf die rechnerunter-stützte Arbeitsplanung sowie die Integration mit CAD wird in diesem Beitrag eine fertigungsorientierte Werkstückbeschreibung, basierend auf Fertigungselementen, vorgestellt. Zur Extrahierung der Informationen über Formelemente aus B-rep, die die Geometriebeschreibung der Fertigungselemente darstellen, werden die soge-nannten attributierten Graphengrammatiken herangezogen.

Abstract

Processing geometric information has proved to be a very important part of integrated information processing for CIM. Accounting for the decision process of CAP and the integration with CAD, a manufacturing-oriented description of workpieces, based on manufacturing features, is introduced. In the proposed approach, attributed graph grammars are used to extract the information on form features, which represent the geometric description of manufacturing features, from B-rep.
