In diesem Kommentar soll der Beitrag von Gängler/Wachsmuth in einen Gesamtkontext eingeordnet werden. Dabei sollen die Abhängigkeiten zwischen Ontologie und Axiomatik aufgezeigt und anhand eines Beispiels vertieft dargestellt werden. Die Auswirkungen einer alternativen Modellierung werden perspektivisch für ein theoriegeleitetes Vorgehen angerissen.
