Zusammenfassung

Eine strikte Trennung von Informatik, Natur- und Ingenieurwissenschaften hat es (solange wie sie als selbständige Disziplinen existieren) und konnte es nie geben. Ihre Verflechtungen, insbesondere wenn man anwendungsbezogen denkt, nehmen jedoch in immer stärkerem Maße zu, wobei insbesondere die Informationstechnik eine zunehmende Rolle eingenommen hat. Ein Beispiel hierfür findet man im Bereich Air Space Management (Luftraumüberwachung und Flugsicherung).
