Abstract

In investigations on reproductive biology, studies on the structural aspects of pistil and the details of pollen-pistil interaction are essential. Exercises in this section deal with localization of extracellular proteins on stigma surface and methods to study pollen tube growth in vivo. Also, a simple method, termed the semi-vivo method, which has much potential in pollen biology, is given.
