Fernerkundungsdaten und Geo-Informationssysteme im Forstwesen

Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag werden drei Anwendungen für den Einsatz von Fernerkundungsdaten und Geo-Informationssystemen im Forstwesen vorgestellt: Die Fortführung einer Forstbetriebskarte mit Hilfe eines gescannten Schwarz-Weiß-Luftbildes, die Kartierung von Windwurfflächen und Borkenkäferbefall mit gescannten Farbinfrarotluftbildern und die Kartierung von Insektenfraßflächen mit Landsat-Thematic-Mapper-Daten. Mit diesen Anwendungsbeispielen wird aufgezeigt, daß die digitale Bearbeitung von Fernerkundungsdaten in die forstliche Praxis eingeht. Und dabei zeigen sich Möglichkeiten, den Anwenderkreis von Bildverarbeitungs-und Geo-Informationssystemen mit Expertensystemen im Sinne von Beratungssystemen zu unterstützen.

Abstract

In this paper three applications are presented for the use of remotely-sensed data and geographical information systems within forestry planning: the update of a forest management map by scanned black and white aerial photos, the mapping of wind throw stands by scanned color infrared aerial photos and the mapping of stands damaged through insect attacks by Landsat-Thematic-Mapper data. These applications show the movement of the use of remotely-sensed data into practical work. With this, possibilities are shown how the users of image processing systems and geographical information systems can be supported usefully by expert systems in the sense of consulting systems.
