Zusammenfassung

Anorektale Abszesse und Fisteln gehören zu den häufigsten anorektalen Läsionen. Da anorektale Ab szesse häufig zu mehr oder weniger komplexen und ausgedehnten Fisteln führen, sollten die beiden pathologischen Befunde als eine Einheit angesehen werden. Abszesse und Fisteln sind 2 Phasen derselben Erkrankung: des fistelnden Abszesses [9]. Aus praktischen und therapeutischen Gründen sollten sie jedoch getrennt betrachtet werden.
