Zusammenfassung
Schon lange ist bekannt, daß bei 7 bis 10% der schweren Schädel-Hirntraumata auch Verletzungen der Wirbelsäule auftreten. Bis zum radiologischen Beweis des Gegenteils werden heute bewußtlose Patienten geborgen, gelagert und behandelt, wie wenn zusätzlich eine Rückenmarksverletzung bestünde.
