Abstract
The completion of the quasiclassical theory for CARS bandshape is presented, thus supplying a description of smoothed contour transformation with density. Simple analytical formulae are obtained, valid under arbitrary strength of collision, with Gordon and Langevin rotational relaxation models as limiting cases. The proposed experimental data processing allows to extract crosssections of stochastically independent vibrational dephasing and rotational energy relaxation.
