Hydrogen CARS Spectra Influenced by High Laser Intensities

Abstract

Molecular hydrogen CARS spectra are strongly distorted under the influence of high laser intensities. The underlying effects, mainly saturation and dynamic Stark shift are analysed by comparing the measured spectra with simulations on the basis of a two level model of H2.
