Ein negativer Druckpuls in der Systole führte unabhängig von Veränderungen der Ventrikelfüllung zu einer Abnahme des linksventrikulären Schlagvolumens. Ein typisches Beispiel zeigt Abb. 3, während Mittelwerte und Streuung der wichtigen Parameter in Abb. 4 zusammengefaßt sind.
