Analysis of Fine Motor Problems in Children with Specific Developmental Disorders of Speech and Language

  • Chapter
Integrative Biological Psychiatry

Abstract

As background for a discussion of fine motor problems in children with specific developmental disorders of speech and language, an explanation seems necessary about why such problems are of interest in child psychiatry. And this in turn necessitates a brief discussion of the relationship between speech/language disorders and psychiatric disorders in children.
